BIBS Feeding Bottles – Baby Glass Bottle
The BIBS glass baby bottles are my personal favorite new product from BIBS! These glass baby bottles are available in a variety of colors and coordinate perfectly with the rest of the BIBS range and our own range of baby accessories and silicone beads.

The bottles are specially designed and developed in the purest and premium material. Therefore, these baby bottles are made of very high quality glass. BIBS bottles are 100% safe with no harmful chemicals and therefore do not transfer harmful substances to the milk. In addition to fitting any modern style, these baby bottles are an easy and safe option for everyone because of this.

Why a glass feeding bottle and not a plastic one?
– Glass is absolutely the purest material for both food and drink, as it is 100% safe and does not release any harmful substances into the milk. This is in contrast to plastic in which BPA, among others, can be a known hazardous substance.
– The glass type chosen in these BIBS baby bottles is premium temperature-resistant borosilicate glass, which is both highly durable and extremely heat-resistant. This makes the bottle resistant to freezing, thawing in boiling water, microwave heating and also cleaning in the dishwasher (except for the latex suction nipple)!
– The latex/natural rubber sucking teat of the bottle is specially designed in a similar style to the popular BIBS Color teats that promote proper sucking technique. The teats simulate breastfeeding. This helps to avoid confusion if you breastfeed as well as bottle feed.
– The teat is made of soft natural rubber latex and designed with an antispasmodic valve to ensure the best milk flow for your baby. Is the flow not fast enough for your little one? Then also purchase a medium flow valve. Read more about the flow/supply rate of milk but also water below.
– The bumper on the bottom of the bottle makes the feeding bottle non-slip and allows you to set it down on the table noiselessly. It also acts as a safety measure in case the bottle falls to the ground.
– For safety and hygiene reasons, we recommend changing the teat every 4-6 weeks. For this, we also supply replacement tutors.
– All parts are made of 100% food-grade material with the highest respect for safety and recyclability.
– Features ml indicator.
– Specially designed to comply with European standard EN14350.
– The bottle is available in two sizes – 110 ml and 225 ml.
Learn more about Flow speed/supply rate of milk:
The “flow rate” also known as flow rate of the milk through the teat refers to the size of the holes in the teat and have an effect on how quickly the milk gets into your little one’s mouth. The vials and flow rate are not age-specific. It varies per little one which flow rate they like best. For newborn babies, a slow flow rate is recommended. Therefore, this is the teat that comes standard with the bottles. This is because slow flow breastfeeding better simulates and gives more control/regulation over the flow of milk. In most cases, the flow rate changes as your little one grows and they often want to switch to a faster flow rate. Therefore, we supply both slow flow (for replacement) and medium flow (for more flow) in our web shop.
What is meant by anti-colic?
Colic is the phenomenon where a little one cries a lot mostly for no apparent reason. This in babies who are healthy and well-nourished. This occurs in about 10-30% of all babies. The exact cause of colic is unknown. The suspicion is that it may occur due to feeding problems or hypersensitivity to something in the powdered milk or breast milk. One way to reduce colic is to help prevent a little one from taking in too much air during feeding. For this purpose, these special BIBS feeding bottles include a ventilation system. This allows for a more gradual flow of milk and a reduction in the amount of air that can be swallowed along with it. Ideal for bottle feeding, pumped breast milk as well as water.
How do you clean BIBS feeding bottles?
The latex suction nipple of the bottle should be cleaned and sterilized before each use. How do you do that?

Pour boiling water on the suction nipple and immerse it in this hot water. Soak these for five minutes immersed in the water.
Take out the natural rubber nipple and let this dry on a clean towel.

The rest of the parts of the bottle can be cleaned as follows:

Wash the parts with hot water or wash these parts in the dishwasher.
Then rinse them with boiling water to make sure all the soap residue is gone.
Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling the bottle.

These BIBS feeding bottles have a similar nipple shape as the familiar BIBS nipples therefore these feeding bottles are the perfect combination with the familiar and in the Netherlands most used nipples.
