- Our website indicates shipping methods based on weight and size. Some items no longer fit through the mailbox. This automatically calculates package shipping (think 30 mm beads or music boxes). Very occasionally, it happens that a total of items becomes too large for shipment as a mailbox package. In that case, we will contact you.
- Our packages are shipped with track and trace. You will automatically receive an email with your track and trace number as soon as the package is shipped. Not seen an email yet? To be sure, check your spam folder or junk mail in your mailbox. Sometimes our track and trace mail is mistakenly classified in this by your mailbox.
- Just ordered quickly and forgot something else? This is no problem at all if you add to your order before 4 p.m. and your first order has not yet been packed (you have not yet received a shipping confirmation or track and trace). Quickly shoot in your order and choose add to not yet shipped order. This costs a 50-cent transaction fee but saves renewed shipping costs. Not sure if it's still possible? Pick up at our warehouse
JootjesHaakcadeautjes.nl is located in IJsselstein. Do you live or work in the IJsselstein area and want to come pick up the materials? You can! We just don't have a physical store. Therefore, you can pick up the materials by appointment only. However, scheduling an appointment is very easy.
Because we have very many orders to process we assume that after placing the order you will contact us yourself via email, social media, app or contact form to make an appointment with us for pickup. It is also regularly possible to pick it up in the evening. Want to pick up materials on very short notice? Send us an app on +31 6 2879 5090. We will respond as soon as possible and can take a look with you to see what the possibilities are. Keep in mind that normally if ordered today, tomorrow is the first option for pickup. This is because of the large number of orders we process.
Unfortunately, since we do not have a physical store but only a warehouse, it is not possible to come and physically view the items. Do you want to know what our materials look like? We do our best to photograph the items as colorfast as possible. Therefore, the pictures on the website will already help you immensely. We also have a Facebook group; Making Baby Toys with Jootjes Crochet Gifts where you can admire many creations on it. Also can offer a color cord on request (B2B only). That means in >95% of cases today ordered tomorrow at home.

Returning
private returns
Read the following carefully! Returns must be properly notified so we can process them properly!

You have the option to return your within 14 days of receiving the order. Want to return a product? To return a product, you must exercise your right of recall. In order for the return to be processed, it must be properly registered. To do so, report your return by sending an email to [email protected]. For proper handling, please include the following information in the email:
- Your name as stated on the order
- The order number of the order from which you wish to return a product.
- The product(s) and the number you wish to return of these.
- The reason for return.*
- If a product unexpectedly arrives damaged to you please provide a photo of the of the original packaging and a photo of the damaged product so we can report it to the shipping company. In addition, this shows that the damage could not have occurred due to your actions or due to returns and helps us deal with the damage.
*Under no circumstances are you required to state the reason for return. Nonetheless, we hope you will indicate this where possible so that we can take this feedback into our web shop and help you as best we can. In doing so, it helps to know if a product has already arrived damaged. In this case, we know that damage did not result from careless handling or shipping from your side. In addition, sometimes we may decide to send a new replacement product in case of damage and give you exception of return (of course after consultation). In that case, you keep the damaged product and we will send you a new, undamaged product. This will save you return costs. However, this decision is solely for us to make and we can only do so after seeing photos of the damage.
The products must be returned in a caring manner (well-protective packaging). All products must be returned in their original condition, unused and clean. Please note, any damage incurred during return shipping is at the buyer's expense. Is a product unexpectedly broken upon arrival? If so, please send us a photo in advance so we can take this into account. We may then be able to recover damages from the shipping company and know that the damage was not caused by your actions or careless returns.

Please also include your name and order number in this packet and indicate on this note that it is a returned item. You have up to 14 days after notification of the return, and invoking your right of withdrawal to return the package. Refunds will be made within 14 days of notification of the return upon proper receipt of the returned items. Always keep the return shipping receipt.
Want to order a replacement product or place a new order immediately? At your request, the refund can also be made in the form of a coupon that you can apply immediately (without delay of refund) to the new order.
Note! Products that are custom made are excluded from the right of withdrawal and cannot be returned. This includes custom cut pieces of cord and personalized items.

Business Returns
As a business customer, you have a desire to return some items. You have the option to return your within 14 days of receiving the order. For proper handling, please include the following information in the mail:
- Your name as stated on the order
- The order number of the order from which you wish to return a product.
- The product(s) and the number you wish to return of these.
- The reason for return.
The above information relates to private/consumer returns. For business returns, however, reason for return must be given. Business returns are possible for accidentally wrongly ordered items and more but only after consultation and within reason. A business return can in principle be refused although we will always try to help as much as possible in this regard.
Why do we make separate rules for business returns? This is because your orders are often of much larger size and of many different items and quantities. This market is a unique market and we offer you unique opportunities to put everything together completely freely. This means you are not stuck with minimum quantities per item and can choose everything yourself. This means that a return involves much more handling and processing on our side. We do not want to let this come at the expense of our service to you to quickly respond to you and pack your order properly and quickly. So in order to continue to help you properly, we do need to look at this together to see how we can avoid this as much as possible. Therefore, we are always readily available for pre-order advice!

In case you wish to return we will always consult with you to see what the possibilities are. It is possible that restocking fees may be charged if the return involves a lot of labor and expense. However, this will never exceed 10% of the return value. This is due to processing, administration and cleaning costs of the materials received.
For business customers, shipping costs are considered lost. These are not refunded upon return because we did have to incur these costs and the shipments tend to be of larger size and are usually shipped extra insured which adds more cost.

Examples where we may refuse a business return:
- “The shipment was delayed 1 day/some days. Now I don’t need the items anymore”. We almost always deliver the next day, provided the postal service is willing to cooperate with us. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this 100%. We will always cooperate with prompt delivery because we know this is also important to you. However, there is always the risk that even though we do ship quickly, the package may not get to you in a timely manner due to force majeure/impotence at the postal service. This is beyond our control. Fortunately, more than >95% of our shipments are delivered the next day and you will almost never suffer from this!
- “I had ordered 10 stacking towers for market A, I sold 8 of them, I want to return the remaining 2”. Unfortunately, we cannot accept such returns. Otherwise, we may mostly run out of items, reorder the items and then get a partial return. As a result, other customers are fishing behind the net.
