Fixing:

The silicone beads are easy to string on a wax cord or satin cord. Do tie the silicone beads teething ring tremendously well and several times. These beads lend themselves well as a spacer between letter beads. This is not only a nice nice change but also helps to better round a teething ring in which you want to use letter beads. This is because the silicone letter beads are square. By using these in teething rings without a spacer, you get a segment that does not want to bend with you but wants to stay straight. The shape of the oval discs ensures that this segment can bend again. Even when used in a pacifier cord, this pacifier cord remains more flexible.

Cleaning:

These oval silicone beads are therefore suitable for both babies and older children who enjoy biting into something. The beads are CE certified and are sturdy. They therefore hardly wear out. In addition, the beads are easy to clean. These silicone beads can easily be put in the dishwasher or in soapy water. Afterwards, let them dry well before giving them to a little one again. Also, the silicone beads can be refrigerated. Thus, they are very nice as pain relief for teething.

Always attach the silicone beads properly and check your making regularly, for example, for wear and tear. You are responsible for this yourself. Jootjes Haakcadeautjes does not check your finished product and therefore cannot assume damage or loosening due to wear and tear. Our advice is to allow handmade teething toys to be used only under adult supervision to avoid dangerous situations.

What do these beads combine well with?

All our beads combine well with each other. We stock the same colors of as many types of beads as possible. However, this is not always possible. It is also fun to combine colors and shapes with each other. This stimulates the development of a little one. The more colorful, the better. As mentioned above, these beads lend themselves well to use with letter beads, both in teething ring and pacifier cord.

Responding to a baby’s sight development?

This is how the development of a little one’s sight progresses broadly:

A baby sees mainly sharp contrasts between dark and light around the age of one month. Contours then very slowly become delineated and principles of color become visible. This begins with the colors red and green and only later the colors blue and yellow. Blue remains more of a shade of gray/black for a long time. True “blue” seeing is not developed until about six months. Of course, that doesn’t mean it can’t be a nice change with a different color bead. Regardless of colors, a baby starts looking for more details from about two months.
