What are these 16 mm silicone safety beads used for?
These 16 mm silicone safety beads are mainly used in pacifier cords. These silicone beads have a double hole. A safe pacifier cord which is always at least double-threaded. You use this safety bead as the last bead on the loop side. One thread goes through one hole and one thread of satin cord goes through the other hole. This allows the last bead to never cross the knot of the last loop. Even if this knot were taken out by someone, the beads cannot come off the pacifier cord. And that’s kind of safe.
