DIY Silicone Beads Package – Keychain – Grandpa & Grandma

Materials: Silicone beads, Acrylic bead with stones, pompon and silver key ring

This kit contains all the supplies needed to be able to make two homemade keychains. One in model Grandpa and one in model Grandma. We also name all the materials in this set below. Should you want to replace an item, like maybe another body for grandma (a white one with stones) or maybe a different color mini abacus this supplies list can help you with that. You can also search for the items in this list via the “search bar” or in the corresponding product category and then add them to your cart yourself but with your own customizations. The materials:

• 2x Threaded Keychain Silver
• 1x Abacus 14 mm Light Gray
• 3x Mini Abacus Wood
• 3x 9 mm light Gray
• 1x Lucky Jo Granny
• 1x LuckyJo Grandpa
• 1x Acrylic with Stones Champagne
• 1x Men’s Suit Brownie
• 1x Pompon Ruche – Grey

These key chains are very easy to make. The balls at the top and bottom can be unscrewed.
After unscrewing either side, thread the beads onto it.
Then you press it firmly onto the rod (the entire thread must remain free) and hold it firmly in one hand.
With the other hand, screw the ball back on.
TIP: Some combinations are a bit “fuller”.
Press on the rod first so you can easily tighten the ball.
If you don’t do this, the silicone beads sometimes press on the ball quite quickly, even though it is only slightly tightened on the thread.
This can be bad for thread quality.

TIP2: You will see in the supplies list that we have indicated 3x a 9 mm light gray. In the image, you see only 2 at first. We placed a light gray 9 mm under the granny pompon. This is to give the pompon a little more pressure / firmness. Since there are also ruffles at the bottom of the pompon, you can push it up with that. Try to drop them as much as possible already directly around the 9 mm. After making and tightening it, you can also carefully remove it between them. This keeps the pompon in beautiful shape and masks the 9 mm bead.
