The rattle discs are plastic and 16 to 22 mm in size. This very size makes them ideal for use in crocheted amigurumi/huggies or handmade baby toys. Both the 16 mm and 22 mm rattle disks actually do fit all common amigurumi. Both rattle discs are quite audible. The 16 mm only have a slightly higher sound due to the size. So a rattle disk fits perfectly into a small amigurumi or mini-igurumi because of its small size.

By using rattle discs, you easily turn your beautiful handmade stuffed toy into a baby rattle. What you may have seen passing by on inspiration pages are the handmade stuffed animals attached to a 7-inch wooden ring. Safety and quality of our rattle discs

A rattle disk cannot just open. Are you making a handmade soft toy for a baby or toddler? If so, always put the padding in tights and seal them. This prevents stuffing from coming out of the soft toy and also keeps the rattle disk safely tucked away. In addition, it is often convenient to crochet a cuddly toy with cotton. This fluffs less and keeps “the little one” from getting fibers in his mouth.
