The rattle discs are made of plastic and range in size from 16 to 22 mm. Because of this size, they are ideal for crocheted amigurumi, soft toys or handmade baby toys. Both the 16 mm and 22 mm rattle discs fit into all common amigurumi. Both rattle discs are clearly audible. The 16 mm discs have a slightly higher sound due to their size. A rattle disc fits perfectly into a small amigurumi or minigurumi.

This prevents any stuffing from escaping the toy and keeps the rattle disc safely stored. It’s also often helpful to crochet a plush toy with cotton. This sheds less and ensures the little one can’t get any fibers in their mouth.
