But which sizes/products are best for your project?

In particular, our wooden appliques are widely used by people who make handmade baby toys. This is sometimes done in combination with crochet and other times by combining it with silicone appliques, rings or beads.

Depending on the size you want to make, you can use a different combination of wooden beads and wooden rings/applications for this. For example, if you use the 16 and 20 mm wooden beads, I would use the 4.5 cm wooden rings. Want to go a notch bigger? Then look for a combination of the 20 mm beads with, say, the 25 or the 30 mm wooden beads along with the 5.5 cm wooden ring or a wooden appliqué (mickey mouse/olifant/egg/bird/fish/anchor/wooden ring with cookie print).

A small teething ring with beads (see example below) consists of:

• 2x a 4.5 cm wooden ring or wooden applique
• 6x a 16 mm wooden beads
• 6x a 20 (crocheted) wooden bead
