Supplies:
- 5 x 20 mm Beads
- 10 x Pumpkin Bead 8 x 20.5 mm
- 5x safety beads 16 mm for the corner points.
- 1.5 Metre Satin cord.

Elaboration Instructions:
This teething ring is assembled differently from other teething rings. We wanted to keep this tutorial a bit shorter and focus more on this specific shape. If you are not yet familiar with the basics of making a teething ring, we recommend that you first read the basic tutorial here – > Basic Tutorial. For making the pentagon shape we used safety beads at the corners. This is different from the standard. You go through one hole, and back through the other hole.
You first ride all the way up until you are Round. Then you calmly slide this Beads.Initially, don’t pull too hard, but gently slide the beads toward each other, segment by segment of the pentagon, by pulling, pushing and sliding. Because of the way the safety beads are positioned, they will provide some resistance, making it difficult to slide properly; if you pull harder, you pull it tight into the safety bead, which will only increase the resistance.
If you have pushed all the beads a bit close together, only then do you tie two knots right away. At that moment you can tighten the teething ring firmly.After this, you will back‑thread in two directions. Once you reach a safety corral, proceed as follows. Work from the inside. Do not insert into the first hole, but into the farthest hole from where you are working. Then insert again from above back through the nearest hole and work to the next side. Keep pulling your cord tight / properly as you work.
Once everything is back together, tie a double knot again. By adding two more beads to the side with both threads you can pull the knot away. Cut the ends off! Congratulations, you have made a Beautiful pentagon teething ring!

Satin cord is very sturdy due to the way it is produced (weaving/textile processing) and provides a lot of grip at the knots. These knots will therefore not come undone easily when pulled tight.
