Processing Instructions:

This teething ring differs from other teething rings. Because we wanted to keep this tutorial a bit shorter / focus more on this specific shape. If you are not yet familiar with the basics of making a teething ring, we recommend reading the basic tutorial here first – > Basic tutorial. For making the pentagon shape, we used safety beads on the corners. This is different from standard. You go through one hole and back through the other hole.

You first masturbate completely until you are round. Then you gently move it beads.Initially, do not pull too hard, but slide the beads towards each other segment by segment of the pentagon by pulling, pushing, and sliding a bit

Do you have all the beads pushed close together, then you immediately tie two knots. At that moment you can pull the teething ring very tight. From here you will go two ways to stitch back. Once you reach a safety loop like coming soon. Work from the inside. Do not insert into the first hole, but into the furthest hole from where you are working. Then, insert back through the nearest hole at the top and work your way to the next side. Always pull your cord tight / snug as you go.

Once you have reunited, tie another double knot. By stringing two more beads aside with both threads, you can pull the knot away. Cut off the ends! Congratulations, you have made a beautiful Pentagon teething ring!

Love,
Team Jootjes

DISCLAIMER: The teething ring is made in this manual based on satin cord and is therefore very durable. Due to the way it is produced (weaving/textile processing), satin cord is very strong and has a lot of grip/friction at the knots. These knots will not come loose easily even when pulled tight. However, wear and tear is always possible with any product you use, that is simply a fact.

Jootjes Haakcadeautjes does not produce the teething ring itself and can never be held liable for potential damage caused by loose teething rings. We show a method for making the teething rings which, in our opinion, is a very reliable method. However, the production and use of a teething ring is always at your own risk. Jootjes Haakcadeautjes can never be held responsible for damage resulting from the use of a teething ring produced based on this manual. In any case, our advice is strict. Always use teething toys only under the supervision of a responsible adult!
