These smaller acrylic beads are intended for making Bracelets, Necklaces, keychains , Sunglass Cords and more. Most beads are in size of 6 mm or matching a size of 6 mm round chosen because this makes them matching with our 6 mm beads silicone jewelry round.
Please note, the beads with a metal look contain a layer with a metal look that will wear. These are not made of stainless steel or another type of metal but of plastic. The beads can therefore possibly transfer some color when worn. This is a consideration when purchasing. Personally, we feel that these beads therefore give a beautiful shiny, weathered industrial look that goes wonderfully with the silicone beads. The color transfer stops fairly quickly. Is this not for you? Then use only silicone or metal beads or a combination.
The advantage of using Acrylic is that it is not problematic for people with a Nickel allergy. A combination of this acrylic beads with silicone beads, especially on our elastic bracelet cord, therefore makes a perfect bracelet for people with a Nickel allergy.
