Private Returns

Read the Good below! Returns must be registered Good so that we can process them Good!

Jij have the option to return your order within 14 days of receipt. Want to return a product? To do so, jij must use your right of withdrawal. To process the return, it must be properly registered. Register your return by sending an email toinfo@jootjeshaakcadeautjes.nl. For proper processing, jij must include the following information in the email:

  • Your Name as stated on the Order
  • The order number of the Order from which jij want to return a product.
  • The product/the Products and the Quantity that jij want to return from it.
  • The reason for returning.*
  • If a product unexpectedly arrives damaged, please provide a photo of the original packaging and a photo of the damaged product so we can file a claim with the shipping company. In addition, this shows that the damage could not have been caused by jij or by the return process, and it helps us handle the claim.

*Jij are under no obligation to provide a reason for returning. However, we hope jij will indicate it where possible so we can incorporate this feedback into our webshop and help jij as Best as possible. It also helps to know if a product arrived already damaged. In that case we know the damage was not caused by careless handling or shipping on your part. Sometimes we may decide, in the event of damage, to send a new replacement product and grant jij an exception from returning (of course after consultation). In that case jij keep the damaged product and we will send jij a new, undamaged product. This saves jij return costs. This decision, however, is solely ours to make and can only be made after we have seen photos of the damage.

The products must be returned in a neat manner (good protective packaging). All products must be returned in their original condition, unused and clean. The return costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We do not reimburse the return costs. Please note, any damage incurred during the return shipment is at the expense of the buyer. Is a product unexpectedly broken upon arrival? Then send us a photo in advance so we can take this into account. We may then be able to claim the damage from the shipping company and confirm that the damage was not caused by your actions or careless handling.

Also include your name and order number in this package and indicate on this note that it is a returned item. Jij have up to 14 days after registering the return and exercising your right of withdrawal to return the package. The refund will be made within 14 days after registering the return shipment upon correct receipt of the returned items. Always keep the shipping receipt of the return.

Would jij like to order a replacement product or place a new order directly? At your request, the refund can also be issued as a voucher that jij can apply immediately (without waiting for the refund) to the new order.

Please note! Products that are made to measure are excluded from the right of withdrawal and cannot be returned. This also includes cord pieces cut to size and personalized items.

Business Returns

As a business customer, jij wish to return a number of items. Jij can return the order within 14 days of receiving it. For proper processing, please include the following details in the email:

  • Your Name as stated on the Order
  • The order number of the Order from which jij want to return a product.
  • The product/the Products and the Quantity that jij want to return from it.
  • The reason for returning.

The above information concerns the private/consumer right of return. For business returns, the reason for returning must be provided. Business returns are possible for accidentally wrongly ordered items and more, but only after consultation and within reason. A business return can in principle be refused, although we will always try to help as much as possible.

Why do we have separate rules for business returns? Because your orders are often much larger and consist of many different items and quantities. This market is unique, and we offer jij unique opportunities to assemble everything completely freely. This means jij are not bound by minimum quantities per item and can choose everything yourself. It also means that a return involves considerably more handling and processing on our side. We do not want this to come at the expense of our service to jij, so we can respond quickly and pack your order correctly and swiftly. To continue helping jij effectively, we need to look at this together and try to prevent it as much as possible. We are always readily available for advice before jij place an order!

In the event that jij wish to return something, we will always consult with jij to see what options are available. Restocking fees may be charged if the return involves significant labor and costs, due to processing, administration and cleaning of the received materials.

For business customers, shipping costs are considered lost. They are not refunded on returns because we have had to incur these costs and the shipments are usually larger and often sent with extra insurance, which adds further expenses.The return costs Are are also the responsibility of the Copper. We do not reimburse the return costs.

Examples in which we can refuse a return:

  • “The shipment was delayed by 1 day/a few days. I no longer need the items.” We almost always deliver the next day, provided the postal service cooperates with us. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this 100%. We will always work to ensure a fast delivery because we know this is important to jij as well. However, there is always a risk that, even though we ship quickly, the package does not arrive on time due to force majeure or the postal service’s inability. We have no control over this. Fortunately, more than >95% of shipments are delivered the next day with us, so jij will almost never be affected by this!
  • “I had ordered 10 stacking towers for market A, I sold 8, I want to return the remaining 2.” Unfortunately we cannot accept such returns. Otherwise it could be that we often end up without items, reorder the items and then receive part of them back as returns. This makes other customers miss out.
