DIY Gift Boxes - Grandpas & Grandmas Gift

This set contains all the supplies for making two homemade keychains. One in model Grandpa and one in model Grandma. We will also list all materials from this set below. Should you wish to replace an item, such as perhaps a different body for Grandma (a white with rhinestones) or perhaps a different color mini abacus bead bead, this supplies list can help you with that. The materials:

• 2x beadable keychain Silver
• 1x abacus bead bead 14 mm Light Grey
• 3x Mini abacus bead bead Wood
• 3x 9 mm Light Grey
• 1x Lucky Jo Grandma

• 1x Acrylic with rhinestones Champagne

• 1x pompom Frill – Grey

These keychains are very easy to make. The balls on the top and bottom can be unscrewed. After you have unscrewed one of the sides, you thread the beads onto it. Then, press it firmly onto the rod (the entire screw thread must remain free) and hold it firmly in one hand. With the other hand, screw the ball back on.

TIP: Some combinations are a bit “fuller”. Press firmly onto the rod first so that you can easily tighten the ball. If you do not do this, the silicone beads sometimes press on the ball quite quickly, even though it is only tightened a small bit on the thread. This can be bad for the quality of the thread.

TIP2: You will see in the supplies list that we have indicated a 9 mm Light Grey 3 times. In the image, you initially only see 2. We have placed a light gray 9 mm under the grandmother pompom. This is to press the pompom a bit more / offer firmness. Because there are also ruffles on the bottom of the pompom, you can press them upwards with this. Try to let them fall around the 9 mm as much as possible right away. After making and tightening, you can also carefully remove them. This way, the pompom remains beautifully in shape and you mask the 9 mm bead.
