This set includes all the supplies needed to make these homemade Father’s Day silicone bead pens. Specifically, it’s the Father’s Day set with two pens: one standard gold pen and a gold‑brown metal pen. Below we also list all the materials in the set. If you want to replace an item, you can assemble it yourself. Simply look up the supplies below and swap one for another.

A beadable pen and bottle opener like this is very easy to make. The balls on the underside of the bottle opener and on the top of the pen can be unscrewed. After you have unscrewed them, thread the beads onto them. Then press them firmly onto the rod (the entire thread must remain free) and hold it firmly with one hand. With the other hand, screw the ball back on.

TIP: Some combinations are a bit “fuller”. First, press firmly on the rod so you can easily turn the knob. If you don’t do this, the silicone beads can sometimes press against the knob too quickly, even though they’re only screwed onto a small part of the thread. This can be detrimental to the thread quality.
