Quality of the Crochet hooks:

The crochet hooks from Jootjes Haakcadeautjes are the cheapest crochet hooks on the market. Can you expect high quality from them? Absolutely! Unlike many other crochet‑hook sets you can buy in this price segment, the crochet hooks from Jootjes Haakcadeautjes are a great and comparable alternative to the more expensive brands. And I’m not saying this just because we sell them; I use them exclusively myself. For the amount where I could buy only one crochet hook elsewhere, I order a whole set here. That way I always have enough crochet hooks for all my WIPs (work in progress) and projects. The metal of the hook is smooth (no burrs or ridges) and runs through the handle to the very end. The hook also doesn’t bend the way some others can. The ergonomic handle is smooth and does not fall short of the ergonomic handles of the pricier brands. You can’t compare this to the hard plastic of cheaper alternatives. These “other” crochet hooks often still cause cramped, sweaty, painful hands and often shed colour. At Jootjes Haakcadeautjes we guarantee crochet hooks with sturdy metal, a smooth cheerfully coloured soft‑grip handle, and a hook that simply lasts a long time. I myself use nothing else and have been crocheting for years with these hooks. I see no reason to purchase them at a higher price. You’ll also find that reflected in the reviews of our crochet hooks. I’d rather buy an extra ball of yarn or a nice pattern. You too?
