Silicone beads are easy to thread onto a wax cord or satin cord. Tie the silicone beads of the teething ring very securely and repeatedly.

These silicone beads are therefore suitable for both babies and older children who like to bite on something. The beads are sturdy and meet EN-71. They barely wear out. They are also easy to clean. Jij can place these silicone beads in the dishwasher or clean them in soapy water. Then let them dry thoroughly before jij give them back to a little one. Jij can also chill the silicone beads in the fridge. This makes them very helpful for soothing teething pain.

Always secure the silicone beads properly and regularly check your creations, for example for wear. Jij are personally responsible for this. Jootjes Haakcadeautjes does not inspect your finished product and cannot take responsibility for damage or detachment due to wear. Our advice is to let handmade teething toys be used only under adult supervision to prevent dangerous situations.

This is how the development of a little one's vision progresses in Large stages:

A Baby sees mainly sharp contrasts between dark and light around the age of one month. Contours then become distinguishable very slowly, and the basics of colour become visible. This starts with the colours Red and Green and only later the colours Blue and Yellow. Blue remains for a long time more a shade of Grey/Black. The real “Blue” is only seen at about six months. That of course does not mean it cannot be a nice variation with another coloured Bead. Apart from the colours, a Baby starts looking for more details from around two months.
