They work best when combined with the smaller sizes (15 mm, 16 mm, 17 mm) in round shapes, with Mickey ears, or in hexagonal patterns. The elegant silicone oval spacer beads are also very handy, for example in teething rings. Placing several square beads side by side creates a straight segment in a teething ring, which compromises its shape. Using oval spacer beads allows that part of the teething ring to flex again and become part of a smooth circle.

The 12 mm square silicone beads are dishwasher safe and can be cooled for teething.
