Snap hooks are widely used, for example, to make lucky dolls and other keychains, such as keychains made of Wood and silicone beads or bag charms with or without a name.

Lucky dolls are figures made from (wooden) beads. The face is made with a wooden Bead with a smile. As the name suggests, lucky dolls are meant to wish someone all the luck and are therefore often given as a small gift or treat at primary school. By attaching them to a keychain carabiner, someone can easily hang them on a bag or use them as part of a keyring. They are also easy to make, so the whole process doesn’t have to take much time.

The keychain carabiner hooks are also widely used for making crocheted keychains or keychains and bag charms from wooden and silicone beads. A small plush toy can then be attached to them, such as a small mushroom, pieces of crocheted fruit (cherries or other), or small crocheted ducks.
