What do you use these safety eyes for?

The 20 mm (black) safety eyes are widely used for making plush toys. Safety eyes for plush toys therefore need to be of high quality and not come off easily to ensure the safety of (small) children. When the plush toys are crocheted they are also known as amigurumi. These eyes are therefore sometimes called safety eyes for amigurumi. Our eyes have a very sturdy fastening. It takes some effort to attach them, but once attached they really do not come off easily. Because the eyes are sometimes also used as a nose, or in combination with another eye in the form of a button (1 button, 1 safety eye), the eyes are sold per piece.

Nevertheless: Use in stuffed toys for small babies and toddlers is discouraged or only allowed under adult supervision!

Safety eyes are designed to stay attached and almost never come loose. However, they are still plastic. In case of serious damage or biting incidents by children, it is important to be careful and to supervise. Therefore, regularly inspect the stuffed animals.
