You can use the Silicone beads Paws – Happy Feet like this, for example:

These beads are used to make teething rings, pacifier chains, stroller straps, nursing necklaces, baby gyms, and other items. You can mix them with other shapes or sizes of silicone beads as well as our wooden beads. Using different sizes and materials stimulates a child's development. The sense of touch is stimulated by different textures. It also benefits motor skills and visual stimulation (different colours). These beads are therefore also ideal to combine with our other range of silicone or wooden beads. This range is regularly expanded. For example, we also have oval beads, hexagonal beads, and honeycomb beads in multiple sizes.

Encouraging the development of your baby/toddler!

By using different structures in your handmade baby toys, a child is well stimulated to develop. A child initially learns a lot through their senses. Therefore, it is wise to vary according to the following points:

• Material
  • Silicone
  • Wooden
  • Crochet yarn.
    • Usually cotton yarn is used because it pills less. Children therefore don’t ingest any fibers from it.
• Texture/Relief
  • All our Silicone products have their own relief, both on the front and the back.
  • Wood, Silicone, and Yarn all have their own feel and texture anyway.
• Shapes: Round, geometric, Oval, various Animals, Rings.
• Visual:
  • Different shapes
  • Different Colours

You can find the Silicone beads here: silicone beads.
You can find the Wooden beads here: wooden beads.

Silicone beads are easy to thread onto a wax cord or satin cord. Be sure to tie it very securely and several times.

These round silicone beads can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher or with soapy water. Let them dry thoroughly afterwards before giving them to a little one again. The silicone beads can also be cooled in the refrigerator. This makes them very handy as pain relief for teething.

Quality and safety Silicone beads:

All our silicone materials are BPA‑free and phthalate‑free. In addition, no other harmful substances are used in the production of these silicone beads. The beads are therefore suitable for both babies and older children who like to bite something. The beads are safe according to EN‑71 and therefore suitable for CE‑certified end products. The beads are sturdy. They hardly wear out. The beads are also easy to clean.

Always secure the silicone beads properly and regularly check your creations, for example for wear and tear. You are personally responsible for this. Jootjes Haakcadeautjes does not inspect your finished product and cannot take responsibility for damage or detachment due to wear and tear. Our advice is to only let handmade teething toys be used under adult supervision to prevent dangerous situations.
