Keychain carabiner

The carabiner keychains are widely used, for example for making lucky dolls and other keychains. Lucky dolls are little figures made from (wooden) beads. The face is made with a wooden Bead featuring a smile. As the name suggests, the lucky dolls are meant to wish someone all the luck and are therefore often given as a small gift or treat at primary school. By attaching them to a carabiner keychain, someone can easily hang them on a bag or use them as part of a keyring. They are also easy to make, so the whole process doesn’t have to take too much time.

Keychain snap hooks are also often used for making crocheted keychains. A small plush item, such as a tiny mushroom, pieces of crocheted fruit (cherries or other), or small crocheted ducks, is then attached to them.
