What do you use this rattle discs for?

The rattle discs are made of plastic and are 16 to 22 mm in size. Precisely because of this size, they can ideally be used in crocheted amigurumi/plush toys or handmade baby toys. Both the 16 mm and the 22 mm rattle discs actually fit in all common amigurumi. Both rattle discs are clearly audible. The 16 mm ones, due to their size, have a slightly higher pitched sound. A rattle disc, due to its small size, therefore fits perfectly into a small amigurumi or mini-gurumi.

By using a rattle discs you can easily turn your beautiful handmade plush toy into a baby rattle. What you might have seen on inspiration pages are handmade plush toys attached to a 7 cm wooden ring. Here, the ring is crocheted around and provided with a crocheted plush head. In this head, a rattle disc or squeaker is often also placed in the filling. Safety and quality of our rattle discs

A rattle disc cannot simply open. Are you making a handmade stuffed toy for a baby or toddler? Then always put the filling in a pantyhose and close it off. This prevents filling from coming out of the stuffed toy and also keeps the rattle disc safe safely stored. Additionally, it is often useful to crochet a stuffed toy with cotton. This frays less and ensures that "the little one" cannot get any fibers in their mouth.
